Quannapowitt Yacht Club

The Day Sailer class is our largest fleet with nearly 40 boats that belong to club members. The Day Sailer has an active national organization, the Day Sailer Association, that sanctions all National- level racing events. The DSA also owns the molds for the boat, currently licensed to Cape Cod Shipbuilders.

The Day Sailer is a 17 foot fiberglass boat with a broad beam that makes it a stable family boat. Many of the people who own Day Sailers race them with family as crew.
