Quannapowitt Yacht Club

This is your early warning! Soon QYC will be up and running for the season. Friday, April 15^th we will hold our Annual Meeting at 7:00PM. Come hear what we have planned for the season and enjoy our speaker. The next morning at 8:00 AM we will launch our docks and officially start our season. Plan on being there for the short burst of work needed to get the club open.

Jeff Benagh and a group of volunteers replaced the old foam flotation on one dock so now we’re two thirds of the way to updating our floats. Thank you Rick Krepps, Steve Breton, Brian Wilson, Jim Finlay, James Carroll, Bud True, Scott Doran, Rich Mastronardi, Etic Wojtacsk, Jack Ardizzoni, Chris Hickey, and Joe Dimare.

We also have a new rescue boat and our youth sailing program is purchasing a few newer boats for the camp. Know anybody who wants to sail? Invite them to talk with Rich Mastronnadi or attend our first Open House on May 15th at 10AM.

The race committee and the volunteer committee could use a few additional people so please let us know if you’re available.
