Notice of Race - October 19, 2013 Flying Scot Chaos Cup
Eligibility: This regatta is open to anyone with a Flying Scot Sail Boat. Current membership in the Flying Scot Sailing Association (FSSA) is not required but prefered for all skippers. Applications for Membership in FSSA will be accepted at the regatta registration.
Registration: Registration and fees will be collected the day of the event. We would be appreciate it if you would let us know if you are thinking about coming by filling out the registration form. You are not required to prepay any fees to the club if you preregister.
Measurement: All boats will be checked for required safety equipment and compliance as required by the FSSA class rules.
Fees: The entry fee is $55 which includes continental breakfast, lunch (deli platter), and dinner (pizza) on Saturday afternoon for skipper and 1 crew member. Extra lunch and dinner can be purchased the day of the event.
Courses To be Sailed:Six races be sailed with one throw out Courses will be illustrated in the regatta sailing instructions.
Radio Communication: Boats shall neither make nor receive radio communication while racing. This includes mobile phones. Emergency communications are an exception.
Trophies: Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 skippers and crew. All skippers are eligible for the regatta trophies.

Arrival & Launching: The club will be open 0800 on Saturday for launching your boat. Limited car and trailer parking is available at the club and on Linda Road. Launching can be accomplished using our lift or beach area. Please be respectful of our neighbors by driving slowly and please, do not block their driveways.
